Hurrah!

Last year I opened an Etsy shop and popped 3 of my English Blossom Fairies in it, eventually they sold, not through Etsy but via the blog. This year I reopened the shop for some of my Peggles only this time I took a bit of time to see how Etsy actually worked.

I hadn't had the faintest idea what I was doing first time around, I didn't even realise that lots of lovely bloggers had "hearted" me. Anyway I have now had my first Esty sale and Miss Lilian Peggle is on her way to the USA.

 And the moral of this post?

Well all you would be Etsians waiting for a sale, don't give up, read the advice on selling and visit the forums, lots of helpful stuff, and people there amongst the chaff and good luck.

Quiet times

After all the excitement of Vanessa's party it all seems very quiet here in blog land with people taking time off to holiday, spend time with family and some even giving up completely.

It seems quiet here at Willow House too giving me plently of time to watch the world go by.

Time to quietly try and fill my Etsy shop.

But it's definetly not quiet for everyone and having just read her exciting news I'd like to offer my congratulations to the lovely Maryam of My Marrkesh.

I'm late, I'm late

Just like the White Rabbit I'm late for a very important date. I'm supposed to be over at Vanessa's http://afancifultwist.typepad.com for a party celebrating her 200th post, but I'm not ready yet.

I've spent much of the day shopping for an outfit like this:

but to no avail, so I'll just have to go as I am. I have a long journey through the magic forest to get there
